About	Gary was a friend who made a difference. He made my years in high school a pleasure. He always had something funny to say everyday. I looked forward to see him. He was my escort for our Senior year Beauty Contest, which he won. I thought he should have won Most Congeniality. I thought that was the most important title. After school had ended, Gary went on to marry his high school sweetheart, Cathy Blanchard. They were both beautiful and athletes. Cathy was known for her unbelievable Chinese Splits that she usually perform in air and land it with such a sound that remembering it today still makes me cringe. Cathy and Gary were inseparable. Gary and Cathy traveled, hunted and found the kind of work that he loved doing. My mother always said, "As long as we speak of him often, he will continue to live on in our memory's".
