JoAnn Blanchard
Class of 1974
Joann married during her 11th grade year to Buron (Sonny) Serigney who graduated 1973. Within a year of Sonny graduating he went to school to become a minister and he and Joann had 2 boys and 2 girls (Jerrod, Shannon, Kendra Star, Rainy)
They transferred to Georgia, a small town with many baptist churches. They had a nice big church, large class area. Unfortunately this did not fulfill Joann's need to help people enough and she started college to become a technician to help people who needed their blood filtered through their kidneys to keep them alive. Our mother had gone through this before she passed away and this undoubtedly set on her mind till the day she made the transition which wasn't cohesive with a ministers wifes job. She stayed true to herself and her ambitions and their marriage was dissolved. Sonny looks great, he trains police force karate, and now his hair is silver and long to his shoulders, a little shocking for me. I wished he would have done that in school. But Joann, has dedicated her life to her children which her younger son, Shannon is FBI, and her girls are the sweetest girls you'd ever meet. Real Georgian women. She's dating and looking for Mr. Right, so any of you who had a crush on her back in the day....contact her. FYI,,,this is Deborah writing this so the first person to tell her that I did this be worned, your gonna get it. No actually, I'm so proud of her and all my sisters...The Blanchard woman are the strongest, hardest working women I ever knew. My mother knew what she was doing when she raised us. Nothing but Love.
