About	My dear brother died within 10 days of his diagnosis of choriocarcinoma. He was just 23 years old. Testicular cancer affects men from 17 to 60 years old and is insidious in its manifestations of symptoms. While it is very treatable with chemotherapy, misdiagnosis is deadly. This is the case of my brother. His death had a profound affect on his entire family. To this day, the pain of his passing is still sharp and throbbing. My parents divorced because of the stress that this critical situation had on their fragile relationship. The positive effect of this event drove me to go to nursing school so I would be able to help those who were struggling with conflict. For that I am grateful to God. His spirit will always live on even as the years multiply. His bravery at the end was amazing in the face of death. He left this earth with many friends who remember him fondly. He is at peace.
