About	Mary, 70, had battled various health issues for many years. She underwent surgery in October 2015, having three disks in her lower back fused together, and had been in physical therapy. During her final stay in the hospital, she came down with an infection and pneumonia. Mary earned a bachelor's degree from Indiana and a master's from Butler in education. She was a longtime junior-high and high school teacher in English, social studies and special education and retired in 2006. She had attended every Class of '64 reunion and was a key member of the reunion committee, in charge of the class database, the search committee and the reunion newsletters. Mary was survived by her husband, John Hunt, three children and many grandchildren.
