Dear Fellow Classmates!
It’s wonderful hearing from so many classmates, and several of you have already sent in your money to attend our BHS 50th Reunion.
If you plan to attend, please let us know ASAP and remit your payment of $150 per couple or $75 single, by September 14, 2015. Checks may be made payable to either “BHS Class of ‘65” or Libby Bowman.
We need to know your meal preference for Saturday evening – stuffed chicken breast or top round steak.
As previously mentioned, on Friday, October 2nd, 2015, we will be attending the Bridgeport High School Homecoming football game (tickets are $5.00 and the game starts at 7:30 p.m.) We will have a designated area to sit with our group, but because it is the homecoming game, we need arrive early to guarantee our seats. Immediately following, we will meet at Twin Oaks Restaurant for a casual, “dutch treat” evening and cash bar.
Saturday evening (October 3rd) will be a dinner, cash bar, and dance held at Via Venito (formerly Green Acres) in Bridgeport, WV. A“mixer” is planned at 6:00 p.m., dinner at 7:00 p.m., and the music and dance will begin about 8:30 p.m. and continue through 11:30 p.m.. Formal dress is optional; dress as comfortable as you would like. Pictures will also be taken that evening.
The menu is top round steak, stuffed chicken breast, stuffed shells, mixed veggies, new red potatoes, and salad.
