Here is what is planned for our
40th high school reunion August 7-9, 2015*
Friday, August 7th Welcome Reception 7:00pm-10:00pm
We are planning to have a tent at the Waterfront Concert in Bangor – that is, if there is a concert scheduled for that night. The band is To Be Announced (TBA) in the Spring. Enjoy the concert for free under a tent reserved just for us. Cash bar. Our back up plan if there is not a concert that evening: Meet at High Tide Restaurant in Brewer for social hour(s).
Saturday, August 8th Tour of Brewer High School 4:00pm-5:00pm
Step back in time and reminisce! Meet up with classmates and some of our former teachers as we walk the halls and see the newly renovated school. Snack on peanut butter bars!
Saturday, August 8th Our Main Event – Lucerne Inn 7:00pm-11:00pm
Please join us for a wonderful reception with hors d’oeuvres, cash bar and dancing. MCs will be Tom Morelli & TBA. Our DJ is classmate Jim (Glidden) Turcotte. The price is $30.00. We’ll meet in the back room. A last chance to meet up and reflect on the weekend events. It is up to you what you want to order – from a cup of coffee to the Big Breakfast!!
HOTEL? If you need hotel accommodations, try the Lucerne Inn. Call 207-843-5123. If there are no rooms available, another option is The Vacationland Inn on Wilson Street in Brewer (next to Coach House). Call 1-800-990-1325. And of course camping is always an option!!
*Other informal events are in the works. Smaller groups of classmates are making plans to meet up earlier in the day on Saturday to go to the beach, to go golfing, to go for a run…..and perhaps a post-party at a snowmobile club!
