NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Rachel Kloess has joined McNeely Pigott & Fox Public Relations as a summer intern.
“Our internship program gives students a firsthand look at what it’s like to work in agency public relations,” said MP&F Partner Katy Varney. “The interns are able to gain experience while making valued contributions to the services we provide our clients and to our firm as a whole.”
Kloess is a senior at Belmont University graduating in August 2009 with a double major in communication studies and Spanish. A native of Nashville, she is a 2005 graduate of Brentwood High School. Kloess volunteers with the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, American Red Cross Blood Drives, Safe Haven Family Shelters, Happy Tales Humane and the Nashville Humane Association.
Kloess also participated in the Adopt-A-School program at McElwain Elementary School in Birmingham, Ala., where she volunteered her services in tutoring, mentoring, landscaping and fundraising. Kloess studied abroad in Spain in 2007 and Costa Rica in 2008 and plans to pursue a career that will combine her love of Spanish with her passion for philanthropy.
