About	Lola passed peacefully after a long battle with kidney disease and liver cancer, surrounded by many love ones. She is survived by her husband William Johnson, her three children Gilly Johnson, Darlene Getchell and Christina Johnson. Also by her mother Rebecca Nelson and her three sisters MaryAnn Stackhouse, Denise Fulton and Shirley Spinelli, and her many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.Lola had her first kidney transplant at the age of 18 and was Stanford's 100th transplant recipient. She received her second kidney transplant when she was 26 years old and was one of the longest living recipients.Lola graduated Branham High School with the Class of 1971 and through her life touched many lives with her infectious laughter, bubbly spirit and enormous strength. She will be deeply missed by many.A memorial service will be held May 4, 2012 at 2:30 pm at the Santa Theresa Catholic Church, 794 Calero Ave, San Jose. Reception will follow.
