Greetings fellow Brainerd High School grads and supporters of Independent School District 181!
Plans are in full swing for the third annual BHS Alumni Golf Tournament - July 24th at The Legacy Courses at Cragun's.
Because of the involvement of so many of you last summer, we were able to generate over $3,000 for
the Brainerd Schools Foundation in honor of former teacher and coach, Mark Embretson.
We hope that you will consider being a participant in this important event whether it be again or for the first
time. Our goal is to increase our participation numbers from last year's 64 participants to hopefully fill the course with 144 players, making this annual event one that folks will look forward to with anticipation!
We recognize that in these times, there are many who are out in the community working to raise funds for
charities, non-profit organizations and other needs.We understand that businesses and individuals throughout the community are being tapped in ways they never have before, which makes it even more challenging to be out and about fundraising.
We feel strongly about the Brainerd Schools Foundation and the work of that organization. It is also important to note that we desire to develop a strong alumni association to support our school district through whatever means possible. Your contribution to this tournament allows us to not only support the existing foundation, but to also build a strong alumni base.
