Greetings, Classmates of BHS Class of 1974!
Our 50th Class Reunion is scheduled Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Dennis Drummond
Wine Co in Brainerd, MN.
We will be sending out our official announcement and registration form shortly!
Below is information that will be helpful now:
*There will be two BHS Tours offered, both alike and a little over 60 minutes. One will be held
Friday, September 13 at 4:30 pm. No charge. Donations appreciated.
*Our classmate, Steve Shepherd is sponsoring a reunion celebration Friday evening at 6 pm at
'Shep's on 6th', 315 South 6th Street.
*The second BHS Tour will be held Saturday, September 14 at 3 pm. No charge. Donations
appreciated.
John Erickson, BPS Archivist/Curator, will be our guide on both dates. It is a great feeling to
walk the old halls (and the new halls), see the changes and listen to John speak of the many
improvements achieved with the renovation.
*Golf outing is scheduled Saturday September,14 2024, Pine Beach West at Maddens. Shotgun
Start at 9 AM. 4 person scramble $57.99 per person includes cart and 18 holes of golf. When
signing up you can sign up as an individual and you will be paired up or sign up for the whole
4-some (the group you want to play with).

*We have rooms blocked for both Friday September 13 and Saturday, September 14 at both
Days Inn and Madden’s:

Days Inn would like us to start booking rooms now at $129.00 per night, $258.00 for the two
nights. After August 13, 2024, the rooms will be higher at $286.10. All you need to do is call them
to hold your room and provide a credit card to hold your room. You will not be charged until the day
you check in when you arrive. Twenty blocked rooms are being held. The last day to cancel would be
24 hours in advance. No fee to cancel.

Guests will need to phone their registration to the following number: 1-800-642-5363 or register
online. It is important you do this for Maddens by June 13, 2024, identify yourself as part of the 1974
Class Reunion, provide your name, home address, and email address (if any), request the type of
room, and check-in and check-out dates. The rate per night is $294.00 per night or $596.00 for the
two nights. They need to call to pay their 1-night deposit of $294.00. Ten blocked rooms are being
held.
Cancellation: Deposits will only be refunded if a reservation is canceled 31 days in advance of your
arrival, and a cancellation fee of 50% of the deposit will apply. If you cancel your reservation 30 days
or less before arrival, deposits are not refundable. On reservations made less than 30 days before
arrival, the deposit is not refundable. Guests are responsible for the entire period of their reserved
stay. Early departures and reservations reduced in length, less than 30 days before scheduled arrival,
will be charged the full rate.
*We would like to include all 1974 classmates who CANNOT attend the 50th Class Reunion! Please
