About	Clara Patricia (White) Martin June 9, 1936 - December 29, 2010 Clara Patricia (White) Martin, 74, of Sagamore Beach died Wednesday, December 29, 2010 following a lengthy illness. Born in New Bedford, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Clara (Henwood) White. She married Rudolph H. Martin on September 2, 1966 in Wareham and he died September 30, 2001. She was an active basketball player for Bourne High School and holds the record for most points scored in a women’s basketball game, scoring 54 points against Provincetown. She was an avid Red Sox and Patriot’s fan, loved doing crafts and playing bingo. She was preceded in death by her three sisters: Irene Richmond, Marjorie Howes and Doris Smith. Visitation was held at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne and services were held at on Monday, January 3, 2011, followed by burial in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
