About	In Memory of Jennie (Consoni) Bulla April 8, 1920 - November 16, 2016 Obituary Jennie A. (Consoni) Bulla, 96, of Sagamore, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Cape Heritage in Sandwich, MA. She was the wife of the late John A. Bulla, who passed away in 2011.. Jennie was born in Bevilacqua, Italy, her parents were Louis and Maria Consoni. They arrived at Ellis Island when Jennie was 2 years old. She and her family lived in Somerville, MA before moving to Sagamore. Jennie attended Sagamore Grammar School and graduated from Bourne High School. Jennie was extremely proud of her Italian heritage. She was the Postmaster in Sagamore for 36 years. Jennie was also the former secretary of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees, former treasurer of the Cape Cod Symphony, former Secretary of the Sagamore Mother's Club, a member of Opera New England and Corpus Christi Women's Guild. After retiring, Jennie loved to travel and visited many countries. She also enjoyed reading and her lengthy walks along the Cape Cod Canal. But, her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Jennie's family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Cape Heritage for their kindness and care, especially the Tupper Unit. Relatives and friends were invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Corpus Christi Parish, 324 Quaker Meeting House Road East Sandwich, MA. Interment at St. Peter's Cemetery Sandwich, MA.
