About	Gregory S. Pierce November 21, 1972 - January 20, 2010 Greg Pierce, 37, of Sandwich, died suddenly on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at Cape Cod Hospital. Born in Falmouth and raised in Monument Beach, Greg graduated among many of his lifelong friends from Bourne High School. After his graduation, Greg devoted a great deal of time and energy towards the career that he loved. Over the past several years he worked at the Massachusetts Military Reservation on Cape Cod, where he was involved with various programs addressing groundwater contamination. He was well known and admired by both the military personnel and the civilians there. Greg was most recently employed by Coast & Harbor Associates, Inc., where he oversaw groundwater clean up for the US Army Corps of Engineers. A lifelong New England sports fan, he attended as many games as he could. When one thinks of Greg, they remember his thoughtfulness and dedication to everyone and everything that he cared about. He was always there to celebrate the good times, but more importantly, he was a man that family, friends and sometimes, even total strangers, could count on to lend a hand in their time of need. Visiting hours and the funeral service were held in the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd. in Bourne. Burial followed in the Sandwich Town Cemetery.
