(Philbrick) Miller of Hyannis died on May 14, 2013 at the age of 69. She was the loving wife of Benjamin R. Miller, Sr. Jane was a member of the Swift Memorial United Methodist Church in Sagamore Beach for many years. She enjoyed taking trips with her husband, but the highlight of each trip was getting back to the Cape to be with her family (especially her grandchildren) and friends. Jane loved baking for her family throughout the year, but especially during the holidays – she was lovingly referred to as the queen of the high-dome apple pie. Jane always enjoyed work, including her time at the Cape Cod Bank & Trust in Dennis and Holidays Hallmark in Hyannis, where she was able to be with people and make them happy. She also enjoyed red cross work and counted cross stitch, and having tea in her sunroom while watching the birds and her beautiful flower beds. Funeral services were held at 1:30 pm on Monday, May 20, 2013 in the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd. in Bourne. Burial followed in the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
