About	Alan David Griffith, 63, of Buzzards Bay, died Monday September 29, 2008. Born on September 27, 1945 in Wareham, he was the son of the late Stetson and Edith Wood Griffith. He was a 1963 graduate of Bourne High School and served in the US Navy from 1967 until 1970. He had been a commercial fisherman and had also been employed at C.W. Douglas Auto Parts in Buzzards Bay. Most recently he was associated with the Mezza Luna Restaurant in Buzzards Bay. Visitation was held at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Shore Rd., Pocasset, followed by burial with military honors in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
