About	Francis B. LaChapelle, 75, of Buzzards Bay, died August 27, 2008 Born in Buzzards Bay, he was a 1951 graduate of Bourne High School. He was member of the U.S.A.F from 1951-1955. Upon discharge from the military, he attended Bryant & Stratton College in Boston, graduating with high honors with a Administrative Assistant degree. In 1958 he became employed in Manhattan where he continued to live until 1980. From there he lived in New Hampshire until June 1986 at which time he returned to Buzzards Bay. He was an employee at Tobey Hospital, Wareham until retiring in 2000. He was a member of St. Peter’s Church on the Canal in Buzzards Bay, where he started the Friendly Kitchen in 1989, which continues to serve free meals each Monday evening. He was a lover of all animals, nature and anyone who was in need. A Memorial Service was held Sept. 13, at St. Peter’s Church on the Canal, 165 Main St., Buzzards Bay. Private Burial was in Dover, N.H.
