About	Jean was born on July 21, 1967. She was a student at Bourne High School at the time of her death. Jean enjoyed art and writing. She especially enjoyed writing poetry. Her family found a poem in her room that she had written shortly before her death. This poem is included in this Memorial Book. The poem seemed to foretell her passing and was dedicated shortly after her death to her mother on Mother's Day of 1982 by her sister Susan and her brother John. It was also included in the yearbook. Everyone who knew her loved her. She loved life and lived a full and rewarding one in her short 14 years. She is now in eternal peace and full of happiness wherever she is. Both Jean and her best friend, Una O'Connell, died as a result of underage drinking and driving. She would not want her tragic death to go without some lesson to all youth. Please don't drink and drive. Have fun, but be responsible. The scenes are there once and maybe luckily captured, to look back upon and to treasure forever. Never forget the times when we were all together, because tomorrow they may be gone. So when you soar like an eagle or are just feeling kinda serene - Remember us together; Remember what you've seen. Although we can never go back and only dream ahead, the memories that we have known mean more than have been said.
