About	Joseph F. Oliva AUGUST 13, 1925 – MAY 17, 2017 Joseph F. Oliva, of Buzzards Bay, MA passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at the Royal Cape Cod. Born in Sagamore, MA, a son of the late Andrea and Savina (Solari) Oliva. He was a graduate of Bourne High School and the Gazianni Accordion School in Boston and played all over Cape Cod. ' He was well known for his quick witted humor, and the ability to sing a limerick or diddly which left most people smiling and laughing. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving from 1943 to 1945 he served aboard the USS Nicholas during WWII. He had worked as a consultant for Comm Electric for 25 years until his retirement. He is predeceased by his brothers Frank Oliva and Andrew Oliva, and his sister Mary Corradi. His Funeral Mass was held from St. Margaret Church Buzzards Bay with his Interment at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
