Alum, newest US fantasy author

Alumnus John Brown ('84) will become America's newest fantasy author when his debut novel Servant of a Dark God releases this October 13, 2009. He will be having four release parties in Utah , before touring parts of California, the Northwest, and Arizona with fellow New York Times best-selling Utah author David Farland.

Brown currently lives with his wife and four daughters in the hinterlands of Utah where one encounters much fresh air, many good-hearted ranchers, and the occasional wolf.
