About	The possessor of the biggest heart of all whom I have met and so very proud to call him friend. He used to ride his horse from his family's farm to visit; thrilled the neighborhood kids back in the day (aren't many around now that the Boomers have grown and departed). Served our country otf the coast (as a squid) of Viet Nam ( and where were you?). Tim McIntyre, 66, of Ogden and formerly of Boone, died May 24, 2017. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel at Sixth and Marshall with Pastor Bruce Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the Linwood Park Cemetery with Military Honors conducted by the Boone Veterans Council. Tim Henry McIntyre, was born on December 16, 1950 in Boone, Iowa, the son of Leslie and Barbara (Stark) McIntyre. Tim graduated from Boone High School and enrolled in the Iowa Welding Institute at DMACC, Ankeny Campus. He worked as a welder at Quinn Machine and Foundry in Boone for 25 years, retiring in 2008. Tim served with the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and was awarded a Bronze Battle Star. On March 6, 1990, Tim married Linda Hodge. Tim enjoyed shooting pool, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, listening to all kinds of music and playing his harmonica. Tim loved to tinker with things and could fix just about anything. He enjoyed swimming, diving, his many animals and riding horses. He enjoyed time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, a grandson Anthony, a brother Mike, and a nephew Shad. Tim is survived by his wife Linda of Ogden; daughter, Denise Elsner (Chris) of Ogden, son Dennis Misner (Tina) of Boone; a brother, Paul ‘Pete’ (Cristy) McIntyre of Boone; a sister, Juli Murray (George) of Williamsburg; 6 grandchildren, Ryan (Jacque) Ross, Jacob Ross, Samuel Elsner, Lucas Elsner, Kaitlyn Misner, and Kaleb Misner; 3 great grandchildren, Gracie, Kamryn, and Gavin and many nieces and nephews.
