About	Gregory Todd ''Greg'' Skurupey, 34, died Saturday, March 3, 2001. He was a native of Blacksburg, Va., and was a heavy equipment operator for H.B. Hankins Co. in Newport News. Greg was also a staff sergeant in the 203rd Red Horse Flight of the Virginia Air National Guard. He was a member of Singleton United Methodist Church in Schley, Va., and was also active with Cub Scout Pack 175, Den 1. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Smith Skurupey; his children, Logan and Sheridan Skurupey; his parents, Fred and Arlene Echols Skurupey of Blacksburg; his sister and her husband, Jodie S. and Brian Dunn of Blacksburg; his brother and his wife, Reggie and Melissa Skurupey and their son Dillon of Christiansburg, Va.; his grandmother, Mamie Echols of Blacksburg; his father- and mother-in-law, Ken and Jean Smith; and sisters-in-law and their husbands, Debbie and Cris Zanka and their children Cristen, Nick and Tony, Karen and Blair Soles and their children Kara and Lauren, and Connie and Stephen Fields and their children Steve and Allyson. A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Singleton United Methodist Church by the Rev. Penny Pugh. Burial will be in the church cemetery with full military honors. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Andrews Funeral Home, Gloucester. A scholarship fund for Greg's children is being set up by the parents and friends of Cub Scouters of Pack 175, in care of First Virginia Bank, Gloucester Courthouse Branch.
