About	Rebecca (Becky) Dickerson Bellows, 54, of Blacksburg, Va., died Saturday, August 21, 2010, at the University of Virginia Hospital. She was born in Christiansburg, Va. on January 27, 1956. She was preceded in death by her father, Roscoe D. (Coty) Dickerson, an infant brother, and her father-in-law, John Leland Bellows. Becky loved working with children and was very active in her church and always supported her children in their youth activities. Becky loved life and enjoyed traveling and loved being with her family, friends and pets. Becky was a 1974 graduate of Blacksburg High School and attended two years at Radford University. She is survived by her husband, John Ervin Bellows; her mother, Doris Correll Dickerson, both of Blacksburg; one daughter and son-in-law, Melissa B. and Robert R. Almond, of Christiansburg; one son and daughter-in-law, Michael D. Jr. and Robyn M. Taylor, of Lake Wales, Florida; mother-in-law, Evelyn Bellows of Hale, Michigan; brothers and sisters-in-law, Roscoe "Coty" Dickerson Jr., of Appomattox, Virginia, Roger and Virginia Dickerson, of Elliston, Va„ Samuel and Susan S. Dickerson, of McCoy, Virginia; grandchildren, Alexandria Taylor, Lauryn Taylor and Mara Dawn Almond, who will be with us in October; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, August 26, 2010, at 1 1 a.m. in the Blacksburg First Church of God with Pastor David Ansley officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive, SW, Blacksburg.
