It is with great disappointment that I am sending out this update to alert everyone that we are officially canceling the Bell Gardens High School reunion event that was planned for June 13th at the Bicycle Hotel and Casino.

The Coronavirus pandemic has cause significant disruption to all of our lives, including the shutting down of the hotel until May 15th and possibly even longer after that date. In addition, given the uncertainty of when the shelter in place restrictions are lifted, it just doesn’t make sense to move forward with the party plans.

Some of you have asked if we could postpone the event or if we could do something on a smaller scale (like a picnic). I’m open to suggestions and happy to coordinate a future event once we get back to a world where social distancing is no longer required to keep us healthy and safe.
