Loren Rebman

Class of 1946

I am not an alumni student. I am the grandson of Loren Rebman who was the principal and superintendent of Lewisville and Beallsville High Schools during the 1930s to 1946. He and my grandmother, Florence Rebman, along with my father John and uncle William, resided in the house, which still stands right along side the old Beallsville High School. I never met my grandpa Loren. He died in December of 1946. I recently visited the two schools. The Lewisville school still has his basketball trophy in the community center display case. I wish I could have met him. My grandmother always said he really loved to teach. I just thought it would be nice to share this information here. I am wondering if any of his students are still alive today.
