About	Daniel Alan Pozner born April 10, 1949 in Queens, New York passed November 15, 2007. The son of Murray and Gert Pozner, Dan was husband of Pat, proud father of Joshua and Sara, and brother of Donna and Ken. Dan was also and will always remain an integral member of “the Bayside Boys”, inseparable childhood friends. Following his graduation from Bayside High School, Harpur College at SUNY Binghamton and New York Law School, Dan served as an Attorney with VISTA, Monroe County Legal Assistance Center and in private practice. A passionate advocate for truth and justice, Dan devoted his career to serving anyone in need of the highest quality representation and trial counsel regardless of their ability to pay. He also mentored young lawyers at Cornell Law School and throughout his career. Dan found his dream home in Ithaca, a small city, that was open and spread out where he could enjoy his quiet time only minutes from the “bustle” of work. His friends in the Ithaca area were his Chinese Buffet lunch buddies, current events conversationalists, and companions to local festivals. Most will remember Dan for his steadfast beliefs and his willingness to listen to the opinions of others and then debate the issues for as long as it might take to make his point. An incorrigible Dodger fan and former point guard extraordinaire, Dan will always be remembered in our hearts and minds as a lover of family, friends, Mallomars, and all that life has to offer.
