About Me | If today is the beginning of the rest of your life, where did the OTHER part of it go? LOL!!! And, can someone help me find mine? I seem to have lost it! Hee, hee, hee!!! During my childhood, I lived on the south side of Milwaukee, while attending four neighborhood schools; Whittier - K-4th grade, Burdick - 5th-8th grade, Fritsche - 9th grade, and Bay View High School - 10th-12th grade. I am the proud mom of three kids. I have two sons; one will be 25 in July, and the other will be 21 in August. I also have one daughter, that will be 16 in June. I am also the proud grandma of two granddaughters. =) I have a disease called Chiari Malformation. It causes many different problems in my life, even though I had surgery to correct them, back in 2006. I now walk with a cane, to help maintain my balance, and have a lot of headaches, neck pain, memory issues, and other problems, too. Check out the link below. It's no fun....Believe me!!! http://www.ninds.nih.gov/disorders/chiari/chiari.htm Other than that, I try to spend time with my daughter. But, of course, with Melaney being a teenager, she is often busy with her school activities, friends, or sports, so I'm satisfied, if we get to spend a night or two, talking and watching a movie together. I am so proud of her, as her goal for this school year, is to accomplish getting a 4.0 grade point average, this school year. She has been working especially hard, in her Advanced Placement classes. GOOD LUCK, MELANEY!!! =) My youngest son, lives just a little bit away from me, so we always keep in touch. Josh spent the last few years, taking care of his dad, who had been really sick, and passed away at the age of 45. I was so proud of the way he was able to help his dad with his dialysis, and daily living! He just amazed me! He has been out looking for work, which has been very hard, due to the economy. He has now decided to go back to school My oldest son, Brad, lives in Wisconsin, but about an hour away from me. I haven't seen him or talked to him in a few months. I have decided that I have had enough of his crap, to last me a lifetime! He has hurt me emotionally and physically, as well. I don't need or want to put up with it any more. He is 25, has had 4 kids, with only having anything to do with one of them. He is a pathetic loser. He has to have either his girlfriend or her mom pay the child support for one of his kids. I just hope that one of these days, he wakes up and grows up! Right now, he is no where near being a man in my eyes. Yes, I always love my kids with all of my heart and soul. I may have not been the perfect mom, and for that, I am very sorry. I have tried my best, even under the worst of conditions that we have sometime...(read more) |
