Wayne was a life long resident of Bay City. He is survived by his mother: Susianna Newsom Hale of Bay City; daughter: Jenny Ann McGill & husband Matthew of Buffalo, TX; son: Cullen Wayne Newsom & Wife Arielle of Wharton; sister: Adrianna Ginther of Branson, MO; brother: Melvin Douglas Newsom & wife Lynda of Tomball; and 4 grandchildren: Ivan Augustus Newsom, Aria Nicole Newsom, Lindsey Brooke McGill, and Melanie Marie McGill. His father Adrian Newsom preceded Wayne in death.
