Raul Elizondo graduated form Basic High School in 1985. He was a member of the 1984 State Wrestling Team. Raul graduated from UNLV with a degree in Marketing in 1990. Raul became a North Las Vegas Police Officer in 1992. He was named "Police Officer of the Year" by his peers in 1994 and Latino Peace Officer of the Year by the Latino Peace Officers Assocation. Raul was killed in the line of duty on January 30th, 1995 protecting the community he served. An elementary school was dedicated in his honor in 1999. Raul will always be remembered as a hero and a Wolf.
