ATTENTION!!
Just a reminder - it's almost time for the BHS Class of 1967, 70th Birthday Party.
The date of the party will be Saturday, September 7, 2019 at the brand new Al's Market, Restaurant and Party Center at 155 2nd St. SW in Downtown Barberton from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

FREE ADMISSION!
Al's famous buffet, cash bar, music, 50/50, raffles and more!
A golf outing for Saturday morning is planned by Cecil Strickler and Bob Jernigan. If you are interested in joining the fun at Spring Hills Golf Course contact Bob at jern1610@msn.com and get signed up.

On Friday night, the Barberton Magics will be playing football against Stow. This is the first home game of the season and the first home game on the NEW artificial turf at the stadium. If you are interested, contact the Athletic Office at BHS at 330-753-2255.

OUR CLASS PROJECTS
We have donated $750.00 from our Barberton Community Foundation fund to support The Limitless Playground which is being built at McCafferty Park on the west side of Barberton. This playground is for all children, but is specifically designed for those with disabilities. If you want to donate to this worthwhile project, please contact the Barberton Community Foundation at www.barbertoncf.org or call them at 330-745-5995. You can also send your donations to me, or bring them to the party, but make the checks out to BCF and in the memo line designate BHS class of 1967 and I will be sure to get it to them.
We have also ordered a granite plaque to be installed at the Ohio Veterans' Memorial Park in Clinton OH. This plaque will honor our classmate veterans that served in the Armed Forces. This plaque should be in place before the party so everyone can see it. If you want to donate to this project, please send your donation to me, Johanne Hartley Despot and I will put it in our account for graving and installing or you can bring it to the party.

Hope you all can attend. RSVP's are appreciated so we are sure to have enough food. Once it's gone - it's gone!!! Let me know by Aug. 31. If you know of anyone that is not on social media, please notify them of this event.
