Thomas (TJ) Jankoski, age 64, of Cochranton, PA walked the stairway to heaven on Sunday morning, September 6, 2015. He was born March 3, 1951 in Pittsburgh, PA the son of the late Edward Jankoski and Elizabeth Trzeciakowski Jankoski. He married Pamela P. Flowers. She survives. TJ was a truck driver for Bennett Lumber. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in Vietnam. He had served his country through the Army, Navy and the National Guard, was a past Commander of the American Legion and a member of the VFW Post 2006 in Meadville. He was also a member of the Free and Accepted Masons in Pittsburgh, and attended meetings at the Cochranton Lodge No. 790 Free and Accepted Masons and a member of the Meadville Moose Lodge No. 2505. He lived life to the fullest and loved the land and his home. He touched and cared for a lot of lives over the years becoming part of them. He loved music especially Led Zeppelin's song, "Stairway to Heaven". He was the best friend and beloved husband to Pamela Jankoski of Cochranton, proud father of Edward Jankoski, brother to Joann, Helen and Linda, Steve and Mark, and nephew to Father Ed Trzeciakowski. A memorial service honoring his life will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the VFW Post #2006, 1045 South Morgan Street, Meadville, PA 16335 or to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
