Have A Happy...the site will be <lbmckay.com> Just an old boxing coach, retired science teacher, and active sports writer. I love my wife and dogs, Snowball & Desi-9/11. I also support the arts, especially my wife L.B. McKay's paintings. My favorite science writer is Richard Dawkins. Linus Pauling & Carl Sagan are right at the top as well. Now, I love me some Elvis and I am enchanted by the 3 Tenors, especially Pavarotti. Once in a blue moon, I get into Chopin, Mozart and Beethoven. I wish I had a time machine to go back and catch the violin viirtuoso, Paganini. He was quite the 'ACT' back in the early 1800's in France and other parts of Europe. For dancing, I crave Country and Rock 'N Roll. I have many favorite artists, most from the Classic, Baroque, and Romantic schools. Delacroix and Gericault really catch my attention. Okay, As sick as I am, I am still training boxers. How about that? My wife Leticia did a major art exhibition at the Chamizal Memorial Gallery that will run from June 7th 2011 to September 2nd, 2011. she is L.b. McKay. check her out at lbmckay.com. Just Google me, Tom McKay Boxing. Note: On June 14th, 2014 we completed the 21st year of The Boxing/Martial Arts Hall of Fames Banquet at Region XIX. It was a very good show (Once Again) and Tom McKay wrote another near 100 page book for the event. McKay served as both Executive Office and President of The boxing Hall of Fame. Over a $1500 was raised for The Candlelighters. a group that supports children with cancer. Since I last posted here, I now have two more grandchildren.
