About Patrick Allen Bracken of Deerfield Beach, Florida, was reunited with Christ on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at the age of 69. Pat was a 1971 graduate of Austin High School in Austin, Minnesota.

Patrick, a Navy Veteran, is survived by his cherished wife, Jane Meyer Bracken and loving son, Jason Elo. Patrick was preceded in death by both of his dear parents, James Bracken and Evelyn Meyer Bracken; his sister in law, Maxine Bracken; and his Father and Mother In Law, Lloyd and Mabel Meyer. He is survived by treasured brothers and sister; Parker Bracken of Austin, MN, Bob Bracken (Larkie) of Austin, MN, and Mary (Drew) Witteborg of Egg Harbor, WI. He is also survived by his sisters in law, Joan Meyer, of Port Washington, WI, and Mary Michelle Bracken of Kansas City, MO. Patrick is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear neighbors and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 3rd at 11:00 a.m., with a Military Honor guard, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 701 West Palmetto Road, Boca Raton, Florida.

Patrick served in the Navy from 1971 to 1980, first, on the submarine USS Grant, and followed by the William H Stanley, as a radar and sonar technician. Pat loved the ocean and both he and his wife were avid divers; married underwater on April 22, 1995, off the Florida coast of Fort Lauderdale. Patrick was trained as an IT technician in Minnesota and was employed by Walgreens until a Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis prevented him from working. He and Jane continued to be active as Youth Group Leaders for St. Stephen Church, attended and served in the Gold Coast Via de Christo weekends, and were commissioned as Stephen Ministers at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Pat loved nature and enjoyed his backyard sanctuary with his King Charles Cavalier, Noel.
