About	Donovan C. Mitchell, 63, of Austin, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, Dec. 4, 2014, at Mayo Clinic Hospital Rochester, Saint Marys Campus. He was born Oct. 3, 1951, in Austin, Minnesota, to Herbert and Melvina (Rathburn) Mitchell. Donovan grew up in Austin and graduated from Austin High School in 1971. On April 17, 1971, Donovan and LeAnn Sullivan were united in marriage at Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Austin. They have enjoyed 43 years together. His jobs over the years included working for Queen of Angels, Chrysler, and Hormel Foods. Donovan proudly served his country in the National Guard and the Army Reserves. He was an active volunteer for the United Way, and was past president of the Mower Council for the Handicapped Board of Directors. He was an avid Viking fan, and always the life of a party. Donovan captivated his grandchildren with his character. All his All his friends were like family to him, and all his kids’ friends were like his own kids and grandkids. Survivors include his wife LeAnn Mitchell of Austin; his children: Donovan R. Mitchell of Austin, Marrianne Boley of Iola, Kansas, Elvis (Andrea) Mitchell of Austin; grandchildren: Shynia Mitchell, Joslyn Mitchell, Alyssa Mitchell, Jonathan ‘J.D.’ Boley, Bobbilee Boley, Ethan Mitchell, Megan Bassett, and Addison Mitchell; his siblings: Terry (Diane) Mitchell of New Richland, Larry Mitchell of Austin, Jackie Cotton of Rochester, and Ardeth (Paul) Klingfus of Austin; in-laws Bev (Troy) Arnold and Dawn Dennison; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and special friends. Survivors include his wife LeAnn Mitchell of Austin; his children: Donovan R.
