Jennifer "Jenny" Hamm -- class of '69 -- obituary

Jennifer "Jenny" Hamm (Feinstein), Class of ’69, suddenly passed away on September 10, 2010 from complications of COPD and pneumonia, with her family by her side in Torrance, CA.

Jenny was born and grew up in El Monte and was the only daughter of William and Margaret Hamm, now of Whidbey Island, WA. She eventually moved to the South Bay in 1985 and had been a resident of Redondo Beach ever since.

Jenny ran her own business specializing in construction management & accounting. She was respected by many in the South Bay and Las Vegas construction community as someone very knowledgeable, trustworthy and thorough.

Jenny was a fun-loving person filled with love and generosity. Her pride and joy was being a mother to her four children and being a grandmother. She always put the needs of her loved ones before her own and was happiest when seeing her children succeed as a direct result of the love and support that she provided.

In addition to her parents, Jenny also leaves behind her children; Erica (Clar) Walsh, Andrea Clar, Jonathan Feinstein, and Lauren Feinstein; two brothers (both also Arroyo alumni); Chris Hamm and Larry Hamm; her grandchildren; Riley Ludeke, Rory Ludeke, Karina Ludeke, Catherine Walsh, and Lillian Walsh. There are also many extended family members, colleagues and friends.

A memorial service will be held at the American Legion Hall in Redondo Beach, CA on Saturday, September 25 at 1pm. Condolences may be sent to; jennifer-feinstein.memory-of.com/About.aspx.

Our beloved mother, daughter, sister and friend will be missed by all.

Richard Budd Class Of 1974

I am sorry to say Richard has passed away. He died April 3rd 2009. I was a friend of his for 40 years and was a classmate of his as well at Arroyo.
