Larry Stack

Class of 1971

Larry Stack, a Class of 71, attended CA State University Sonoma, then joined the Navy as part of its aviation program earning his Naval Flight Officer wings in 76. He went on to a 25 year career in the Navy flying the EA6B Prowler, and commanded an attack squadron during Desert Storm and Operation Southern Watch as the Executive Officer then Commanding Officer of VAQ-136. He attended the University of Southern California and earned a MS in Systems Management and attended the National Defense University/National War College and earned a second MS in national Security Strategy. He retired as a Navy Captain after serving in the Chief of Naval Operation’s Information Dominance Directorate. After the Navy he went on to become the VP of Operations then CEO of Emediat Solutions, a 4GL RAD IDE software company. He then become an Executive Director at Concurrent Technologies Corporation running their largest division of over 650 people and $135M in revenue, and then left them to become CEO of Triton Services in Maryland. He was recruited away and is now the President of CBI Polymers in Honolulu, Hawaii where they make a remarkable product called Decongel. The product has won many national awards and is a decontamination gel that one puts on a surface, lets dry and is then peeled off. It was designed for the radiological and nuclear markets but has uses in the industrial chemical market as well as home and garage use. Larry is married to the former Joyce Bartlett and they have 4 children and 1 grandchild.
