About	Mr. Allen was the first principal of Aragon High School. He was "retired" in 1971. Mr. Allen was a beloved principal and a war hero. "During W.W.II, he served in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a navigator on a B-17 bomber based in England. After numerous flights bombing German factories, his plane was disabled over Regensberg, Germany. It coasted gradually as far as Naples, Italy where he was picked up with his crew by German soldiers and spent 23 months in a German prisoner of war camp, Stalag Luft lll in E. Germany."
