About	After graduating he was in the Army as a medic stationed in Japan. He is survived by his sister Karen and her husband and 2 nephews. Our Dad passed year before and his mom in 2014. He lost his battle of cancer.

Oh wow.....I'm so disappointed and sad at Gary's passing. He was a good friend, and took a lot of ribbing from some of the other guys. He and I used to talk about old cars, and I remember his 1955, or was that a 1956 Chevy? So long Gary. Your friend, Kelly Odell.

Gary reportedly died in San Mateo. If you are a member of Ancestry.com, you can see more details about Gary's passing. Gary's sister, Karen Leary, is listed here under the 1974 class. One of her sons wrote a moving tribute to their mom in her obituary. They note that she was preceded in death by their dad, Randy Rose.
