About	Cherie P. Fafard of Lakeville died Monday, August 8, 2005 at New England Medical Center in Boston after a lengthy illness. Born in Stoughton, she was the daughter of Edward G. and Diane D. Fafard. Ms. Fafard was a graduate of Apponequet Regional High School and Bridgewater State College. She worked at the Burkland School in Middleboro as a teacher and as a nanny for several years. Ms. Fafard was a communicant of Sts. Martha and Mary Church in Lakeville. She loved children and animals and was a contributor to MSPCA and several charity organizations. In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers, Keith Hood of San Francisco and Michael Fafard of Lakeville; a sister, Kim Thomas of Lakeville; and two nephews. Services were scheduled for August 11, 2005 at Sts. Martha and Mary Church in Lakeville. Burial followed at St. Mary's Cemetery in Middleboro. Arrangements were by the Dahlborg-MacNevin Funeral Home inc., 280 Bedford St., Lakeville.
