Thanksgiving weekend it�s going to be graduation class vs. graduating class�Lahser vs. Andover�young vs. old� in something that promises to be a long time tradition for Bloomfield Hills Schools. All BHS alumni are encouraged to contact their old classmates and form a team.
The Bloomfield Hills Boosters, an organization committed to financially supporting athletic programs in Bloomfield Hills Schools, has announced an exciting fundraiser for Nov. 28, 2009. The event will reunite Bloomfield Hills schools Alumni for its first annual Bloomfield Hills Alumni Basketball Challenge, and is scheduled to occur when many out of state alums may be �home� for the Thanksgiving weekend.
The event will offer BHS alumni an opportunity to register a basketball team from their graduating class to participate in the challenge with other BHS classes. The format for the event will be a 4 vs. 4 �round robin� with winners advancing to later rounds. Teams are encouraged to have as many players on their team as possible. The event is open to all graduates from both Lahser High School and Andover High School. The Boosters would also like to invite any graduates from the former Bloomfield Hills High School! If you are unable to find old classmates to form a team, please contact us for your spot on our �All Ages Wildcard� team.
The Challenge will take place at Lahser High School from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on November 28. The tax deductible donation for participation is a minimum of $20.00 per team member. The donation includes a commemorative T-shirt. Alumni can register their team for the event by contacting Mike Cowdrey at the Bloomfield Hills Schools Athletic office at 248.341.6404.

All funds will go to support Bloomfield Hills Athletics. Final registration will take place at 8:00 AM on Saturday November 28, at Lahser High School.
