Greetings Class of ’76.
With little less than 2 weeks away for the 45th class reunion, I write this note regarding the attendance for this event. Last year there were approximately 85 people that replied that they were interested in attending the reunion. Today as I write this message, there are 30 people that signed up to attend. This leaves me in a bad position. By signing the contract and sticking my neck out for the class, I am obligated to pay the full amount of the reunion. I am short a little over $2500.00
This amount I will need to pay out of my pocket, which is not fair to me. The amount of work I put into this for the class is substantial. I spent an enormous amount of time on the sites I created, the two reunions, the Steeler gatherings, and the 60th birthday party, for the class to keep in touch and to have good times!
I do not have over $2500.00 extra to pay for this out of pocket. If you are able to attend this reunion, it would be most appreciative. Hope you are able to attend, as this reunion will be tons of fun!
