Hello my name is Robert Fagley I'm the youngest of the "Fagley" Boys I'm 69 David the middle brother would have been 74 we lost him in 1992 Dick was 78 I'm considered the BOO-BOO Baby. My mom said she was the only one she knew of in 3 different PTA's at the same time.
Dick was off to collage when I was 4-5 years old. I have few memories of him in the home setting. But he always bigger than life to me. He was going to exciting places all over the world..doing cool things like flying big jets and helicopters, and yes several tours in a war zone. Being a controller in SAC headquarters in an underground room that was nuclear bomb proof. Wow!
I was there when he married the love of his life Barbie. I was there when he retired from the Air Force and started a life of doing what he wanted. Like collecting at first Thunderbirds then Cadillacs. I have drug more Caddies across the country for him,but I didn't care. I have had calls from him...I'm in the neighborhood can we stop? Neighborhood? You live 2100 miles away! Yea we haven't been home for 2 months.
I got to spend some time with him in November hauling 12 of his Cadillac's off to the junk yard and everyone that we took just I got the whole history off. Where he got it,what he did to it,whats parts he sold of it, where the parts went, The first one we took was on the trailer and a big forklift came up and stuck the forks right threw the windows ,picked it up by the roof and off it went...I thought he was going to die right there. He loved all his cars.
