About	Nancy Jones was an English teacher during the 1960's. She was beloved by her students. She moved to the Harrisonburg, VA area in 1968, and continued to teach HS English for many years. After retiring from teaching, she went on as a writer. Her published books include histories of local personalities, businesses and educational institutions, as well as a children's book and history of a local freed slave community. She wrote a weekly newspaper column for eleven years.
