Survivors include her beloved husband of thirty-nine years, Fred R. Mrs. Boeck was preceded in death by her parents, J.P. and Juanita Mallett. She is also survived by her extended family at University Hospital's Emergency Department where she worked for thirty-nine years. Affectionately known to many as JoJo, her friends and family grieve their loss, but celebrate her life and the many contributions she made to the lives of so many. Josephine was a native Augustan. She graduated from The Academy of Richmond County and University Hospital School of Nursing before marrying and commencing her career in nursing. She was a life long member of St. James United Methodist Church. JoJo was a very hard worker, a strong woman, and the most giving mother any child could ever ask for. She and 'Robin' were a strong team as parents and had a love for each other that most people never know. She loved to work in the garden, run in marathons, and go on adventures with her family. JoJo was funny, wise, loving, gentle, gracious, and caring all at the same time and she will be missed by many.
