About	Amazing teacher of biology and physiology, inspired many students to pursue science and health careers. Really expected a lot - and got it. Also led the Recorder Club. Had been residing in Santa Cruz.

Oh, I just found out his passing. Mr. Desch was more than my favorite teacher. He not only taught me the wonder of homeostasis in the human body and prepared me for college, but he was such a support to me when my family was falling apart.
He will always have a special place in my heart. He was so special to me I sculpted a bust of him and gave it to him to show him my gratitude. I think he kept it for a number of years.

I will always remember him with gratitude and fondness.

Several of us would get together so we could group study for his tests.

How many remember what he did in class to describe the Electron Transport Chain?

The best teacher at Lincoln high from 73-77!
