Hello Fellow EAGLES - Class of 1978 (and all those Eagles - and Eagle educators - that walked the halls of AHS with us) Make plans now to attend our 45th Reunion, held in conjunction with the AHS Alumni Mixer beginning at 1pm Sunday, Sep 3, 2023, during the Hopkins Farm Brewery's "Cornival" celebration. Labor Day weekend is a great time to gather and celebrate with old friends, take some time to remember those we have lost along the way, reminisce about the good times, share lots of laughter, dance to some fantastic tunes and make new memories!
YOUR TO DO LIST:
• Mark your calendar to attend!!
• Help get the word out – tag classmates on social media and try to reach out to those that are not.
• Extend this invitation to former teachers and to alumni from other classes, especially those we performed with, competed together with, served others with, ate lunch with, cheered on fellow classmates with, hung out between classes with, attended or missed class with. etc.
GENERAL INFO:
• There is no cost to attend the reunion, but you are responsible for either purchasing food from a variety of food trucks available on-site or for bringing your own picnic.
• Please note bringing your own beer is prohibited. Instead treat yourself to one of Hopkins fresh craft beers brewed right on the farm!
• There will be a large tent set up for the Class of 78, but you may want to bring you may want to bring your own 10x10 pop up.
• Bring your own camp/lawn chair: seating is limited.
• Bring some cash - the Class of 78 will be holding a 50/50 raffle fundraiser - proceeds will benefit the Aberdeen Class of 78 Goodwill charity efforts led by Bobby Schaffer.
ENTERTAINMENT:
• AHS’s very own Mike and Gene Sinar’s band Soulstice will be featured playing all the tunes we love from the 70’s and more. Check them out at http://soulstice.live/musicians .
• DJ Bruce Kregel, will be there to play your favorites before, during breaks and after Soulstice performs.
• Fantastic fireworks display in the evening to top off the event.
