Those of you living close to Ar-We-Va know the controversy surrounding closing Ar-We-Va and consolidating with Carroll, Denison, or Manning. So far the proposal has been rejected by the state of Iowa. School districts are held sacred unless sufficient evidence shows a reconsolidation would benefit the students. The latest movement is to take all high school students to Carroll or Manning, whichever is closer. If you hear additional information, keep us all informed.
