Service description Torre Mallard, a 1998 graduate of Salmen and a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, was killed in March 2008 while serving in Iraq. Mallard was a company commander and, while in active service, a recipient of a Bronze Star. His military career began in March 2003. In addition to the Bronze Star, he was also awarded the Purple Heart and the Meritorious Service Medal. He leaves behind his wife Bonita, two sons Torre, 2, Joshua, 1, and parents. |
