Damon McLaughlin

Class of 1984
Navy, 20+ Years

Served 24 years in U.S. Navy from 1984-2008. Retiring as a Engineman Senior Chief in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii where I currently reside. Now I find it a honor to serve those who have served, as I am now Assistant Chief Engineer at Hale Koa Hotel. Its the ninth largest hotel on Oahu owned and operated by the U.S. Army.

The picture in the background was taken while I was visiting Yokosuka, Japan. In the background are the Japanese Maratime Self Defense Force Ships, whom during world war II, we were at war with. So I found it fiting to wear our WWII uniform and pose in their home port!

Our Lakeland Senior High School military alumni are some of the most outstanding people we know and this page recognizes them and everything they have done! Not everyone gets to come home for the holidays and we want our Lakeland Senior High School Military to know that they are loved and appreciated. All of us in Rathdrum are proud of our military alumni and want to thank them for risking their lives to protect our country!
