Service description Enlisted with the US Navy after graduation. (June 76) 1976-1980 USS GUAM LPH 9. 1980-1982: Managed the Officers Club and CPO clubs at NAVCAMSEASTPAC. 1982-1983: Butcher shop at Pearl Harbor Commissary 1983-1984: USS Harold E. Holt FF-1074 Attained the rank of PO 2nd Class After completing 8 years I decided to get out and open my own restaurant in 84. That fell through so I tried to re-enlist back into the Navy. The US Navy wasn’t excepting prior enlisted personnel, so I Joined the US Army in Sep 86. (Rank of E-2 due to my break in service and branch) 1986-1987: USAG Unit, Fort Huachuca AZ. 1987-1990: 1st Armored Division 1990-1991: 1st Infantry Division Fort Riley/Dessert Storm 1991-1995 Special assignment to the Office of Secretary of Defense. Dick Cheney/Les Aspin (Promoted to SFC) 1995-1998 86th Signal Bat. 11th Sig BDE Retired in 1998 with 20+ years. Rank of E-7 (SFC) |
