Favorite School Memory Pizza Villa, Me being framed with the class clown award, Star Parties At Mr. Keech's house in Lewistown. Jazz Ensemble concerts at Fred'town Mall and at school. Varsity Baseball.
About Me Offered a Professional Baseball contract with the Pittsburg Pirates in 1976.I was a member of the 1975 16-18 Frederick Babe Ruth Md. State Championship Team, and a member of the F.S. K. Post American Legion 1976 Md. State Runner-up baseball team. Played college baseball at FCC then Shippensburg State College in PA. In 1979 I earned the Most Valuble Player Award in the prestigious Sanford/Orlando College Baseball Tounament in Florida while playing for Shippensburg State. An Injury to my right ankle ended my baseball career. During and after college I played for Mt. Airy,Md. in the old Maryland State Semi-Pro Baseball League. After the Maryland State league folded I played softball in the Frederick City and Co. Softball Leagues for Miller Beer ,Smith Builders and Brian Contractors earning births to World softball tournaments all over the country.I also participated in the Brunswick Softball League, and the Fort Detrick Softball League winning the Post Championship in 1983. Have been a Sheriff's Deputy for 25 years,currently a Detective in Warrants Division. During my 25 year police career I have received numerous Md. Governor's Crime Prevention Awards. Have won two Virginia State Class Trapshooting Open State Titles. Bowled in the Professional Duckpin Bowlers Association. Have assisted in raising two wonderful children son Bradley, who is proudly serving his country in the United States Air Force,and daughter Emily, who is a freshman in college studying Astronomy.
